Job requirements
• Act as a strategic resource, trusted consultant and project manager in all tasks and programs related to the delivery of air quality and GHG projects.
• Lead and support business development & proposal activities (writing, estimating and or presenting) for air quality and greenhouse gas services
• Provide technical support for project deliverables
• Serve as a technical resource on applicable laws, regulations and proposed regulations for air quality and GHG
• Provide client guidance and project liaison for emission study and compliance requirements.
• Respond to client Request for Proposals, review technical reports, provide group development and direction.
• Areas of expertise should include but are not limited to the development of air emission inventories, air pollution control technologies, regulatory compliance and guidelines.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Atmospheric Science, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• 10-15years Air quality consulting experience
• Current and relevant Consultant work experience on Environmental Canada NPRI, Environmental Compliance and/or Air Quality/Permitting, Alberta EPEA, AR. 113/93, AR.118/93, AR 211/96, Alberta Ambient Air Quality Objectives, GHG emission inventory/verification
• Proficiency with Microsoft Access, Excel, and Word
• Possess technical knowledge and understanding of oil and gas facilities and processes.
• Overall understanding of federal and provincial regulations as they relate to air quality issues
• Working knowledge of industrial processes and emission estimation techniques.
