Job requirements
• Work with program and client staff to identify, develop and support energy saving projects on customer sites
• Recommend appropriate energy saving measures in identified projects, particularly motors, drives, process, HVAC, and other savings measures
• Quantify savings, costs, and benefits, consistent with program and policy requirements
• Work with client staff to assess site steam and air leak minimization efforts
• Examine and identify areas of opportunity to increase energy efficiency utilizing new or existing technologies, provide creative market transformation ideas, and/or innovative implementation strategies
• Utilize effective writing and verbal skills to support entire program team to deliver the target energy savings to meet our clients' goals
• Conduct spring and fall audits of chilled water/HVAC steam systems to ensure equipment are properly isolated
•Conduct thermographic analyses of electrical distribution equipment in support of site heat conservation efforts
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• 5 years Experience in Refineries, Upgraders, Chemical plants or other related Industrial processes
• Experience with Excel/Minitab or equivalent statistical data collection techniques and control charting for formal inquiry and problem solving
• Capability to perform energy loss calculations for a variety of equipment including the following electric motors, steam distribution systems, boilers, fired heaters, HVAC system
• Professional member of APEGA, CEM or CEA preferred
